On August 14, 2020, CHENG Jing, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chair Professor of Tsinghua University School of Medicine and Chairman of CapitalBio Corporation; ZHANG Zhicheng, Consultant of CapitalBio Corporation; ZHAO Sujing, Member of the China Disabled Persons' Federation and Director of Preparation Office of the University of Rehabilitation; YANG Hong, Director of Secretary Division of General Office of the China Disabled Persons' Federation; LI Xinzhang, Executive Deputy Director of the Leading Group and interim Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of the University of Rehabilitation, visited Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research (TASA) on invitation to find out the construction and development of the park and discussed with leaders of TASA on cooperation affairs.
Academician CHENG Jing and his company visited the Art and Science Experience Center, the workshops, incubators and other facilities under construction and found out details on the development layout of TASA on six industry-oriented innovation R&D platforms: future health and well-being, transportation, life, fashion, learning and sustainable cultural development. Ltd., etc. jointly visited the park and attended the seminar.

During the visit, Mr. ZHAO Chao introduced the key aspects in planning for the workshops and mentioned that TASA focused on interlinked development of scientific research and industry and planned to set up several academician work studios for scientific research, so as to create top momentum for industry development; in the industry field, TASA plans to cooperate with famous domestic and overseas enterprises to set up innovation R&D centers or labs as the practical base for scientific research innovation.
Mr. ZHAO Chao also sent an invitation to CHENG Jing for cooperation. He said that in order to build cross-industry integration and innovation platforms, TASA hopes to further cooperate with CHENG Jing in the fields of health and well-being in the future, so as to make full use of Tsinghua University's advantages in technology and talents and establish a deep cooperative relationship.

Cheng Jing praised TASA's park design concept and future development direction. He agreed with the introduction of resources and in-depth cooperation with TASA. At the same time, he also reviewed a series of outstanding results that have been achieved, including the nucleic acid detection chip kit for six respiratory viruses and COVID-19 nucleic acid detection mobile lab, which are designed and developed by CapitalBio Corporation in cooperation with AADTHU and TASA. These achievements have made significant contributions to the country's fight against the epidemic.
❏ Nucleic acid detection chip kit for six respiratory viruses
TASA participated in the design of the constant temperature amplification nucleic acid analyzer and the related chip. This detection product is the world's first diagnostic system that can detect six respiratory viruses including the novel coronavirus within 1.5 hours. At the most critical moment of the outbreak of COVID-19, the product was reported by CCTV Primetime News four times in a week. General Secretary XI Jinping and Premier LI Keqiang made special trips to inspect and approve the results, and encouraged the promotion of product innovation to serve national needs and health.
At the critical moment of epidemic prevention and control, Tsinghua University immediately donated 12,000 test chip kits to Wuhan. These kits ensured rapid and efficient detection and screening of patients with COVID-19.
❏ COVID-19 nucleic acid detection mobile lab
TASA participated in the design of the mobile laboratory. The interior of the laboratory consists of a throat swab sampling manipulator, an infrared radiation temperature gradient virus rapid inactivation instrument, an automatic new coronavirus nucleic acid rapid detection chip laboratory and a 5G direct reporting system for test results. The laboratory can meet the requirements of "sample in-result out" high-sensitivity and rapid detection in a variety of application scenarios.
Academician CHENG Jing and the leaders of TASA jointly discussed the cooperation intention of CapitalBio Corporation and TASA to jointly build the flexible electronic wearable research institute. He hoped to establish a more complete and rich cooperation mechanism with TASA on the basis of existing cooperation. For example, the two parties could set up research institutions in TASA around the fields of precision medicine and precision health, and develop more scientific research results through design innovation to better serve the national health needs of the country.
